The team challenge
that turned a summit into a race for charity
At the IPA Member Summit, 160 pharmacy members joined one of two teams and carried a digital passport through four days of keynotes, activations and evening events.

The challenge
Keep 160 members playing for four days, not four hours
The IPA Member Summit brings independent pharmacy owners and their teams together for four days of keynote sessions, a full supplier trade floor and themed evening functions.
Engagement activities usually peak on day one and fade by day two. With a long program and a busy exhibition floor, members needed a reason to keep exploring, keep turning up and keep playing right through to the final session.
The play
Two teams, two causes, one leaderboard
Every member chose Team Fullife or Team My Room when they registered, and their passport opened in the phone browser. Each of the 122 challenges carried a point value, and every one completed went straight onto the team total.
Instead of scanning QR codes, members used self check-in to complete challenges from their own phone. The winning team decided how the charity prize pool was split, so every stamp counted towards something bigger.
How it worked
From team pick to charity split
Pick a team at registration
Members chose Team Fullife or Team My Room as they signed up. The passport opened in their phone browser with the team already attached. No app, no download, no account setup.
Self check-in, no QR codes
Challenges were completed with a tap from the passport itself. Nothing to print, stick up or scan across a four day program of keynotes, trade floor and evening events.
Photo challenges on the big screen
Challenges like Superheroes Assemble and 3 People Mid-Air asked members to snap a photo, which went straight onto a live photo wall for the whole room to see.
Bonus points for standout moments
The IPA events team set up bonus stations to award extra points on the spot whenever a member went above and beyond, landing straight on the team total.
Team mode
Two teams, 160 members, 16,005 points apart
Most event gamification ranks individuals, so a handful of people chase the top spot and everyone else stops checking. Team mode flips that. Every stamp counts towards a shared total, so the casual player matters as much as the most competitive one.
A live leaderboard on screen refreshed every ten seconds throughout the Summit. Team Fullife finished on 155,675 points and Team My Room on 139,670, a margin close enough to keep both sides playing to the final day.

The results
What four days of Heroes for Good delivered
160 members joined the passport in their phone browser, with zero app downloads required.
4,702 stamps collected across 122 challenges, around 29 per member over the four days.
295,345 team points earned, split almost evenly between 81 members of Team Fullife and 79 of Team My Room.
607 photos submitted through photo challenges and streamed live to the Summit photo wall.
Every stamp was a self check-in from the phone browser. No QR codes to print and no app to install.
“StampRise is a fantastic platform, particularly because it doesn’t need to be hosted within an app. The setup was easy to navigate, and delegates had no trouble accessing the platform and completing challenges. The support from Qutayba was also exceptional. He was highly responsive and open to customising the platform to meet our needs. We couldn’t recommend StampRise more!”
