SPONSOR ENGAGEMENT
Sponsor Engagement Software for Measurable Event Participation
StampRise is sponsor engagement software that places each sponsor inside a Digital Event Passport. Participants scan a sponsor's QR station, complete a short activity such as a quiz, survey or photo task, and earn progress toward rewards. Organisers see the observed activity per sponsor and can share it in post-event reporting.
01 / The activation
Start with an activation worth doing
A sponsor station works best when the participant gets something useful from the stop: a quick product fact, a two-question quiz, a short survey, or a photo moment. The stamp is the incentive. The activity is the reason the visit means something to the sponsor.
- Quiz questions that surface one message the sponsor cares about.
- Short surveys that capture stated interest or intent.
- Photo proof activities with the configured review process.
- Bonus points for premium sponsors, set by the organiser.
02 / On the floor
QR stations at the booth, lounge or session
Every sponsor is created as a station with a unique QR code. Print it on booth signage, a counter card or a lounge table. Participants scan with their phone camera and the Passport opens in the browser, so nobody has to install an app before taking part.
- Unique QR per sponsor; NFC is subject to rollout access.
- Staff-verified stamps where a conversation should happen first.
- Stations can sit in sponsor zones, lounges or near agenda sessions.
03 / Reporting
Report observed activity, clearly labelled
Use the available station reports, participant progress and activity responses to describe the sponsor's Passport participation. Stamp counts are not a count of every attempted scan or every physical visitor. Check the fields available for the configured activity before agreeing on a report.
- Recorded stamps by station.
- Activity completions and survey or quiz responses.
- Time-of-day patterns across the event.
- CSV export for your own sponsor reports.
04 / Be precise
Scans, qualified conversations and commercial ROI are different things
A public QR link can be shared, so a scan alone does not prove a physical visit. A recorded stamp means the configured completion conditions were met. A qualified conversation is a separate judgement made by sponsor staff. Financial ROI needs attributable commercial returns and costs, not just participation or unclosed pipeline. StampRise supplies participation evidence, not automatic revenue attribution.
| Signal | What it tells you | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Recorded stamp | Configured completion conditions were met | StampRise station reporting |
| Activity response | What they answered or chose | Recorded by StampRise |
| Qualified conversation | Staff judged the interaction relevant | Sponsor qualification records; a staff stamp alone does not establish this |
| Financial ROI | Attributable return relative to total cost | Sponsor commercial records, costs and agreed attribution |
05 / Data and consent
Permissions come before sponsor data sharing
Participant details should only reach a sponsor when the participant has agreed to it. Organisers decide which fields are collected at sign-up and what is shared. Aggregate station counts can usually be shared without personal data at all.
- Ask for consent before passing names or emails to a sponsor.
- Share aggregate counts when consent is not in place.
- Review the StampRise privacy policy and DPA with your team.
06 / Selling it
Packaging sponsor engagement for your prospectus
An organiser could package a participating station, a sponsor-themed question or a sponsored prize as an activation. Confirm the supported configuration before offering it. Describe the deliverable as placement and reported participation, not a guaranteed number of visits.
| Station | Activity | Evidence to review | Reporting boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sponsor booth | Quiz | Recorded stamps and saved answers | An answer is not proof of attention |
| Sponsor lounge | Interest survey | Saved responses and completion | Stated interest is not marketing consent |
| Sponsor demo | Staff-assisted activity | Recorded staff-confirmed completion | Qualification and sales remain separate |
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
StampRise provides recorded station stamps, participant progress and saved activity responses according to the activity configured. These are not a record of every attempted scan or physical visitor. Commercial outcomes remain in the sponsor's own systems.
Organisers can export station-level data to share with each sponsor, and exhibitor accounts let a booth view its own activity where the organiser enables them.
Yes. A station can be set so staff verify the stamp, which means the participant has to speak with someone at the booth before progress is recorded.
Only where participants have consented. Organisers control which fields are collected and should share personal data with sponsors only on that basis.
No. The Passport opens in a mobile browser from a QR code or link.
