Create a Digital Event Passport by defining the activities participants should complete, setting up a Passport with stations and explaining how progress leads to a reward or other outcome. In StampRise, test the experience before choosing Go live. Paying for a package and opening participant access are separate actions.
Write one objective: discover exhibitors, complete demonstrations or explore a venue. Choose a realistic number of activities for the available time. You do not need to replace your existing event registration system to run a Passport. Start with the smallest journey that serves the objective.
In the organiser workspace, create or open the parent Event, then create the Passport for this experience. Use a recognisable name and configure the participant-facing branding. Review the scheduled dates, access rules and participant information you actually need. Keep the Passport in Draft while preparing it.
An Event may contain multiple Passports, but a first pilot is easier to operate with one clear journey. Do not create multiple copies just to represent the stations in a single route.
Open Stations and add the participating booths or locations. Give each a clear name, instructions and an appropriate activity. A simple scan, question or supported staff-assisted activity creates a different participant experience, so test the selected completion method.
Use the station QR and direct link provided by the product. Check that each poster opens the intended station. The welcome entry link and station activity links have different jobs; label them accordingly.
Decide what completion means and set the actual eligibility rules. If using assigned stations, review its individual-Passport requirements before participants join. If using a treasure hunt, configure the separate starting clue and outgoing clues at completed stations. Do not assume every format can be combined.
When offering a reward, explain whether it is guaranteed, limited or a Lucky Draw entry. Decide how collection is handled and practise the staff process. Avoid collecting additional personal details simply because a field is available.
Use the available preview and draft test flow. Start at the welcome entry, complete a station and return to the Passport. Try an incomplete activity, a returning participant and someone who has not met every reward condition.
Practise the configured recovery process and assistance procedure. Check QR readability on the actual printed size and test connectivity at the venue. A browser-based experience avoids installation but does not imply offline recording.
Check that the Event's package supports the expected participant capacity and duration. Unlocking or paying for a package does not automatically open the Passport to participants. Choose Go live when the configuration, staff briefing and participant instructions are ready.
Confirm the public journey works before distributing the welcome link widely. During the event, review participation and deal with problems through the supported organiser workflows.
Explore the existing Digital Event Passport demonstration, then use the QR mechanics guide to understand entry, completion and recovery. For reporting after launch, read how to track booth participation.
Does buying a package automatically launch my Passport?
No. Payment unlocks the package. Go live separately controls public access to the Passport.
Must I move my registration system to StampRise?
No. Registration is optional supporting functionality. Plan the Passport's entry and access rules around your event requirements.
Should I print QR posters before testing?
Test the destinations first, then test a printed sample at the intended size and position before producing the whole set.
