Google Wallet pass: Pass saved to Wallet
How organisers set it up
- 1
Review availability
Check the organiser's Wallet configuration and provider readiness. Do not advertise the save action before testing it with an eligible participant.
- 2
Enable the Passport option
Opt in for the relevant Passport. New Passports do not need Wallet to function, and existing browser access should remain unchanged.
- 3
Test returning access
Try saving and reopening on a supported device. Also test the normal link or recovery journey for participants who choose not to use Wallet.
What participants experience
An eligible participant can choose the available save-to-Wallet action and use it to return to their Passport. This is an access convenience, not an exemption from station activity, reward or identity requirements.
Settings and controls
Optional per Passport
Enable the feature where it serves the event. A participant should not be forced to use a Wallet provider to collect ordinary stamps.
Provider-dependent updates
Wallet updates can occur separately from Passport activity. A provider outage must not block the event's core stamp journey.

Sample scenario for explanation only. This is not live product data, a screenshot, or a real registration or draw.
Scenario: A participant wants a convenient way to return during a multi-day event.
Reporting
Use the Passport's own records for activity and reward decisions. A Wallet display is not a separate authoritative prize record, and this page does not promise a specific real-time update interval.
Limitations and boundaries
- This page describes Google Wallet, not a promise of Apple Wallet availability.
- Saving a pass does not establish offline activity recording or bypass verification.
