Passport from registration: Registrant opens the Passport link from their confirmation
How organisers set it up
- 1
Choose the target Passport
Link the intended Passport within the Event rather than an unrelated destination. Review its entry, capacity and participant requirements.
- 2
Set the access trigger
Choose confirmation, admission or staff approval according to the event's operation. Explain the trigger so participants know when access becomes available.
- 3
Test required next steps
Check an eligible registration and one whose trigger is not satisfied. Test any passcode, verification, profile, consent, badge or team requirement in the handoff.
What participants experience
The participant follows the explicit continue action when their registration is eligible. They complete any remaining Passport access requirements or use the supported recovery flow for an existing identity. The handoff does not silently treat matching email addresses as the same person.
Settings and controls
Trigger and target
Different Passports can serve different journeys. Review the actual target and trigger rather than assuming one registration unlocks everything.
Remaining access gates
The link preserves the Passport's required entry conditions. When another step is needed, the participant should receive an actionable continuation rather than an unexplained failure.
Illustrative guided walkthrough

Sample scenario for explanation only. This is not live product data, a screenshot, or a real registration or draw.
Scenario: An organiser chooses admission as the Passport access trigger.
Reporting
Distinguish registrations eligible for access from participants who actually continued into the Passport. Linking does not turn registration confirmation into a station stamp, reward collection or proof of activity.
Limitations and boundaries
- Email matching alone must not merge participant identities.
- An unpaid, waitlisted or otherwise ineligible registration does not bypass the selected access trigger.
FAQ
