Registration check-in: Arrival queue
How organisers set it up
- 1
Assign admission staff
Give the appropriate Event members access to admission tools. Read-only visibility does not authorise someone to check in or reverse a registration.
- 2
Prepare and test credentials
Use the correct registration admission QR. A confirmation link, Passport link or reward QR must not be treated as an interchangeable entry credential.
- 3
Rehearse exceptions
Practise an unpaid, waitlisted, cancelled or already admitted registration. Define who can reverse an admission and how the reason is recorded.
What participants experience
The participant presents the appropriate registration credential or receives authorised desk assistance. Staff check eligibility and record admission through the supported tool. A confirmation email alone should not bypass payment, cancellation or status checks.
Settings and controls
Walk-ins and capacity
Supported walk-ins follow form validation and capacity rules rather than creating unrestricted additional admissions.
Reversals and history
Owners or admins can use the authorised reversal process with a reason. The history remains recorded instead of simply deleting evidence of the earlier action.

Sample scenario for explanation only. This is not live product data, a screenshot, or a real registration or draw.
Scenario: A registered delegate reaches the Event entrance.
Reporting
Use admission records and history to explain check-in operations. Keep confirmed registrations, checked-in people and session-specific check-ins as separate measures. A Passport completion total does not replace an admission count.
Limitations and boundaries
- Unpaid, waitlisted, cancelled or otherwise ineligible records must not be represented as valid confirmed admissions.
- Admission is not a general-purpose safety headcount or a substitute for venue procedures.
