Staff tools: Staff open the scanner
How organisers set it up
- 1
Define the staff role
Decide whether the team is assisting with stations, collecting prizes or operating registration admission. Give them the corresponding supported access.
- 2
Prepare the right scanner or link
Use the issued staff workflow for that task. A station stamp, reward verification and admission scan are not interchangeable.
- 3
Rehearse exceptions
Practise an ineligible reward, a returning participant and a duplicate attempt. Tell staff who can handle exceptions instead of bypassing rules locally.
What participants experience
Participants receive help at the relevant activity or desk and complete the required interaction. Assistance should not expose private credentials to the staff member or encourage the participant to register again when a supported recovery path is available.
Settings and controls
Scoped access
Provide the minimum access appropriate to the role and event. Treat staff links and access credentials as operationally sensitive.
Recovery and verification
Use the supported recovery process and server-checked completion flow. A poll or a screenshot is not a substitute for the required staff action.

Sample scenario for explanation only. This is not live product data, a screenshot, or a real registration or draw.
Scenario: A booth team confirms that a participant completed a demonstration.
Reporting
Use recorded station actions, admissions and reward collections for their respective purposes. Staff confirmation provides evidence of the configured action, not automatic qualification of the participant as a sales prospect.
Limitations and boundaries
- Do not share organiser passwords as a substitute for staff access.
- Assistance does not remove eligibility, identity or capacity requirements.
