Station survey: Participant opens the survey
How organisers set it up
- 1
Define the purpose
Decide what the response will be used for and who needs access. Keep the survey short enough to complete at the station.
- 2
Choose the question types
Configure the supported text, single-choice, multiple-choice or ranking questions. Include complete option labels and explicitly mark questions that are optional.
- 3
Test submission and reporting
Try an empty optional question, a required question and any Other choice. Review how the saved responses appear before sharing the activity.
What participants experience
Participants open the station survey in their browser, answer the applicable questions and submit. Required questions must be completed. A configured Other option can capture text separately from the fixed choices, and station progress follows the full set of activity requirements.
Settings and controls
Visual choices
Add supported question or answer images as an aid to the text, not as an unexplained replacement for it.
Required and optional questions
Ask only for information you need. Optional questions should remain optional, including when a participant returns to the activity.
Illustrative guided walkthrough

Sample scenario for explanation only. This is not live product data, a screenshot, or a real registration or draw.
Scenario: A sponsor asks visitors which of three topics they would like to explore.
Reporting
Organiser reporting provides the saved responses for the relevant survey. Interpret preferences as self-reported information. Check exhibitor permissions and the collection purpose before sharing respondent identities rather than aggregate answers.
Limitations and boundaries
- A survey response is not automatic marketing consent.
- Station surveys and post-event feedback surveys serve different moments; choose the appropriate workflow.
