Treasure Hunt & Brand Activation Template

This template seeds The Hunt 2026 as an ordered trail: The Front Door, The Long Table, The Quiet Corner, The Lookout, The Workshop, The Green Room, The Vault and The Finish Line. Each station's description is the clue for that stop, not a venue label, and Treasure Hunt Mode reveals them one at a time in order. Two stops carry a quiz and one carries a staff-verified build task at The Workshop. Because the mode depends on order, the stations must stay in the sequence they are listed.

How the template works

Treasure Hunt Mode is on: attendees see only the clue for the stop they are on.
Scanning the QR at that stop unlocks the next clue straight away, in order.
A points leaderboard runs, and finishing all 8 stops unlocks a prize and a spin.

Example reward rules

Hunt Finisher Prize at 8 finds and requires the Finish Line stamp (200 in stock), claimed at the finish desk.
Spin the Wheel at 8 finds for a bonus prize, one spin per attendee.
Both rewards trigger only when the whole trail is complete, so the prize means finishing.

Attendee instructions

Step 1: Start your passport: No app and no password. Your first clue is waiting.
Step 2: One clue at a time: You will only see the clue for the stop you are on.
Step 3: Find the stop and scan: When you find the QR, scan it. The next clue unlocks straight away.
Step 4: Finish the trail: Find all 8 stops to unlock your prize and a spin of the wheel.

Setup

Step 1: Rewrite all 8 clues for your venue. The sample clues will not fit your space
Step 2: Walk the route in order and confirm each stop is findable from the clue
Step 3: Keep the stations in order. Treasure Hunt Mode reveals them in the order they are listed
Step 4: Print QR posters and place them where the clue points, not next to it
Step 5: Upload your event logo and set your brand colours
Step 6: Brief your staff on the task at stop 5

Frequently asked questions

Treasure Hunt Mode reveals stops one at a time in the order they are listed. Reordering the stations changes the sequence of clues attendees receive.

Yes. In this template each station description is the clue for that stop rather than a venue description, so rewrite all eight for your own space.

Yes. Both the finisher prize and the spin are editable, though they are set to unlock only once all eight stops are found.
